The Grand American Road Racing Association, established in 1999, is the fastest-growing racing series in North America. Based out of Daytona Beach, Florida, its corporate headquarters at Daytona International Speedway shares the campus with NASCAR, and draws several of its investors from the key people behind the success of NASCAR.
Grand-Am is regarded as one of the world’s most competitive road racing organizations. It has built its success by creative, sensible and affordable rules that create a competitive but level playing field. Grand-Am’s flagship series, The Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16, is in its ninth season of competition. Comprised of two classes – Daytona Prototypes and GT – the series races at some of the world’s most prestigious venues and attracts some of the most recognized names in motorsports.
